Golf: The golf enthusiast will enjoy Northern Bay Golf Resort, an 18-hole replica course located on Castle Rock Lake. Inspired by some of the most legendary holes in the game, Northern Bay is sure to entice and challenge golfers of any age or skill level. Trappers Turn Golf Club is another popular course, with 102 acres of rough but only 34 acres of fairway. Better bring your A game!

Boating: The most popular boating tours in the Wisconsin Dells aren’t on boats at all -- they’re on Ducks! Ducks are amphibious vehicles that have the unique ability to ride across land and float on water. Originally used during World War II, Ducks are now used around the world as a quirky alternative to traditional, land-only bus tours.

Fishing: Located on the Wisconsin River, Buffalo Ridge residents can cast a line for smallmouth bass, walleye, and catfish. Nearby Lake Delton is a 254-acre lake that offers northern pike, walleye, bass, and panfish.

Skiing: Buffalo Ridge residents can enjoy downhill skiing at the nearby Cascade Mountain Ski Area, which has a base elevation of 820 feet, 10 lifts, and 28 runs. Christmas Mountain Village Ski Hill is located right in the Wisconsin Dells and offers snowboarding, snow tubing, and skiing lessons.

Dining: Whether you’re into casual cuisine or fine dining, the area surrounding Buffalo Ridge is known for its culinary variety. The Kaminski Bros. Chop House features dry-aged beef, crab cakes, and fine wines, while Danny's 90-94 Grill serves up burgers, pizza, sandwiches, and malts.

Festivals: In addition to all the outdoor activities available in the area, Buffalo Ridge residents will also have the opportunity to experience many seasonal festivals and events. The Wings Over Wisconsin Dells air show features all kinds of high-flying adventure, while the Flake Out Festival showcases a snow-sculpting competition, horse-drawn wagon rides, blacksmith demonstrations, and fireworks.
